ABOUT THE DR. JACK DUGAN FAMILY SOCCER AND TRACK STADIUM
The Island University is proud to partner with Dr. Jack Dugan as the principal sponsor of the new Soccer & Track Stadium. This project symbolizes the Island University's close connection to the Coastal Bend community. The approximately $9.6 million, state-of-the-art facility is home to the newly-established Islanders soccer program, and the record-setting Islanders track team. The 15,300-square-foot facility, which includes a soccer field enclosed by an eight-lane track, will host Southland Conference competitions as well as non-conference games and tournaments featuring nationally-prominent programs. The facility includes seating for up to 750 spectators, private suites, storage, and a ticket office.  The Grand Opening celebration will take place at the inaugural Islander women’s soccer game.

As the principal sponsor of the new Soccer & Track Stadium, Dr. Dugan continues a long tradition of commitment to the Island University and to education. He has honored the memory of his late wife, Susan Dugan, through a scholarship endowment and by providing the lead gift to build the Dugan Wellness Center on campus.
