Tropical Storm Alex Update: 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 29
The current weather report shows that Tropical Storm Alex continues on its path about 50 miles south of Brownsville. Weather in the Corpus Christi area for tomorrow shows a slight improvement from earlier predictions with light gusty winds and possible heavy rain. Weather will continue to improve through Thursday and into Friday. University officials ask that faculty, staff and students take precaution when driving to campus because of areas of possible high water in the city. University Police may be blocking some parking lots prone to flooding, such as the Curlew Lot and the lots around the Camden Miramar complex. The University will operate under "business as usual."
