WHAT: Opening Reception for “Y.L.A. #12: (Young Latino Artists): Embracing Chaos”

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Department of Art at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and University Galleries will hold an opening reception for the “Y.L.A. #12: (Young Latino Artists): Embracing Chaos” exhibit Thursday, May 22, from 5-7 p.m. in the Weil Gallery, located in the Center for the Arts.

The exhibit, which will be on display through Friday, June 20, is traveling from the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin. The artwork includes photography, paintings, drawings and sculpture created by six young artists from Corpus Christi, McAllen, Houston, El Paso, San Antonio and Austin.
