CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – More than 170 students from the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will celebrate the end of the 2007-2008 school year during the fourth annual “Splash Day” Tuesday, May 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the ECDC lawn.

The event, sponsored by the ECDC Student Council, will include relay races, an obstacle course and maze, ball toss, moon jump, volleyball, tetherball, a two-story inflatable slide, slip-and-slides and other activities including an ice cream social.
“The first year, the event was such a big hit that we decided to do it again and now it’s become a school tradition,” said Student Council Sponsor Lina Lopez. “The kids have been counting the days until ‘Splash Day’ for months.”
