Exposition WHEN: Thursday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. WHERE: University Center, Lone Star Ballroom CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – More than 150 fifth-grade students from the West Oso Independent School District will learn about conducting restaurant inspections and crime scene investigations during the Science Rules! Exposition Thursday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the University Center, Lone Star Ballroom. Science Rules! is an interactive learning experience designed to stimulate interest in science. The children will visit 17 booths staffed by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi students, faculty, staff and community professionals. Each station will teach some topic of science and include hands-on activities for the students. Over the past five years, 825 West Oso students have participated in Science Rules! which began as a partnership with the University of Nebraska through a grant from the National Institutes of Health. Science Rules! is funded by the College of Science and Technology and the Provost’s Office. |
