CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in partnership with the Pollution Prevention Partnership at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, will host an AutoCheck Clinic Tuesday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the TxDOT Complex at Greenwood and South Padre Island Drive.
As part of TxDOT’s continuing commitment to encourage cleaner driving habits, the Pollution Prevention Partnership will be on-site to instantly measure tailpipe pollutants from vehicles. If AutoCheck identifies a vehicle as running dirty, it may qualify for a free tune-up. In addition, the Corpus Christi Police Department will offer free window etching of the vehicle identification number. |
