CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Corpus Christi Area Alumni Club of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will hold a “Summer Taste of Texas” mixer Thursday, June 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Islander Art Gallery, 4024 Weber Road in the Hamlin Center.
Guest speaker will be State Rep. Solomon Ortiz Jr. The mixer will feature a tasting of wines from Texas wineries and light hors d’oeuvres with a Texas twist.
Music will be provided by students from the Department of Music. All proceeds will benefit Islander Alumni Club projects.
