CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – From the ceremonial lighting of the “I” to a variety of games and contests, there’ll be plenty for all to enjoy Thursday, Jan. 31, beginning at 9 p.m. during the 2008 Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Pep Rally - Islander Athletics and the Spirit Team will hold a pep rally Thursday, Jan. 31, from 9-9:30 p.m. at the University Center’s north terrace. The event will include an introduction of the men’s and women’s basketball teams, entertainment by the Islander pep band, cheerleaders and dance team and the ceremonial lighting of the “I.”
Up All Night – The Campus Activities Board will host “Up All Night” Thursday, Jan. 31, from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the University Center. The line-up will include Nashville coffeehouse singer and guitarist, Jessica Sonner, at 9:30 p.m.; magician and illusionist, Mike Super, winner of NBC’s “Phenomenon” at midnight; karaoke, and various games and contests.
