CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Department of Art and University Galleries will hold an opening reception for Master of Arts candidates Donna Carroll and Jill Wiggins Friday, April 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the Islander Art Gallery, 4024 Weber Road in the Hamlin Center.

The exhibit will be on display through Saturday, April 19. Featured works include Wiggins’ latest prints, which utilize the printmaking processes of lithographs and linocuts, and focus on the human figure as an outlet for emotional response.
Carroll’s new body of ceramics seeks a deeper meaning to the human experience by creating an awareness and enjoyment of interacting with an object that is unique and not mass-produced.
