| Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to Interview Three Candidates for Art Museum of South Texas Director’s Position |
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Three candidates have been chosen in the search for the Art Museum of South Texas director position. They are scheduled for interviews during September.
The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, Sept. 6 through Saturday, Sept. 8
Cindi E. Morrison, executive director for the Lancaster Museum of Art in Lancaster, Pa.
Monday, Sept. 10 through Wednesday, Sept. 12
Joseph B. Schenk, former executive director with the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Okla.
Sunday, Sept. 23 through Tuesday, Sept. 25
David T. Johnson, director of collections/chief curator at the Hillwood Museum and Gardens in Washington, D.C.
“The search is very pleased with the three outstanding candidates who will be interviewed,” said Dr. Eliot Chenaux, vice president for Student Affairs and co-chair of the search committee. “All three candidates have experience as directors of museums and the vision to lead the museum in its next phase of expansion.
