CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Department of Music at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will present Octubafest on three consecutive nights, Monday, Oct. 22; Tuesday, Oct. 23; and Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The concerts are free and open to the public.
Octubafest will feature the tuba and euphonium students of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi playing an assortment of solo, duet and ensemble pieces. The selections will include arrangements of familiar music and original compositions for low brass instruments.
