CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – More than 800 students from the University’s five colleges will receive their diplomas during Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s Spring 2007 Commencement Saturday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Bank Center Arena.

Christina McAusland, a first-generation college student and honors graduate, will deliver the keynote address. McAusland, who will graduate Summa Cum Laude in English, was selected to address her fellow graduates based on academic performance and involvement in campus and community organizations.

In all, 830 students from the Colleges of Business, Education, Liberal Arts, Nursing and Health Sciences, and Science and Technology have applied for spring graduation. The University conducts three commencement ceremonies each year, in December, May and August.
