Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Reading Conference to Stress Importance of Literacy for People of All Ages

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The College of Education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will host the “Once upon a Time: Literacy for All Ages,” reading conference Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 in the University Center.
The conference will provide a forum for educators and literacy professionals to meet, share ideas, and learn together. It will feature more than 100 presenters, a special fluency workshop, many new exhibitors, a wine and cheese reception, and the opportunity to earn three graduate credits. Featured speakers will be Kathleen Krull and John Pikulski. Rates are:
• Full conference: $75 (early) $100 (regular)
• Either Friday or Saturday only: $50 (early) $75 (regular)
• Special fluency workshop: $25 (early) $35 (regular)
