Summer Workshop Students to Learn about Engineering and Technology Career Opportunities at the Port of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Sixteen summer camp participants will learn about Port of Corpus Christi Authority operations and job opportunities in engineering and technology during a tour of the facilities Friday, June 22, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. 
           
Participants will visit the Harbor Masters office, Police Command Center and Cold Storage. The tour will be preceded by a presentation at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz International Center at 8:30 a.m. and end with a lunch beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The tour is part of the first “Youth in Technology” summer camp sponsored by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and the WorkSource of the Coastal Bend for students ages 17-21, which runs through Friday, July 6, on the University campus.
