FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   DATE:  February 26, 2007        CONTACT: Richard Gigliotti, 361.825.2651 Applications Being Accepted for Free Non-Profit Use of Performing Arts Center CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Applications are being accepted through April 6, 2007, from non-profit organizations in the Coastal Bend Region for free use for one day of the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. An endowment at the University provides funds for use of the facility for one or two community non-profit groups each year.             The application must provide detailed information regarding the event or program, the benefit the program provides to the Corpus Christi community, and examples of similar events sponsored by the organization. Organizations must submit proof of 501(c)(3) status, proof of insurance, mission statement and list of board members.
