| ‘Images from the Book: The Island University’ Exhibit to Showcase the Life and History of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi |
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The “Images from the Book: The Island University” photo exhibit reception will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Mary and Jeff Bell Library to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
The exhibit is a collection of images in the newly published book, “The Island University,” that chronicles the life and history at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The selected photos encompass a wide range of subjects from campus architecture, athletics, academics and campus life to images of the Coastal Bend. The exhibit, which runs through Friday, Oct. 12, is free and open to the public.
Contributing photographers include Jessica Grumman, Jeff Janko, Dr. Harley Moody, Brandy West and John Woelke.
The book will be unveiled at University President Flavius Killebrew’s State of the University address Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the American Bank Center. Books will be sold at the event.
Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 1:30 a.m. |
