New Basketball Coach Perry Clark to Preview Upcoming SLC Season

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Corpus Christi Area Alumni Club of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will hold a mixer and dinner Thursday, Aug. 30, beginning at 6 p.m. in the second floor meeting room of Water Street Seafood Company.

Honored guests will be Dr. Robert and Gloria Furgason. Dr. Furgason will be recognized for his years of leadership as president of the University, as well as his role in the development of the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies.

In addition, Perry Clark, new head basketball coach at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, will introduce his coaching staff and give a preview of the upcoming Southland Conference season.
