Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Fraternities and Sororities to End Greek Week with Beach Clean-Up

CORPUS CHRIST, Texas – An estimated 200 fraternity and sorority members will hit the beach Friday, April 20 as Greek Week activities at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi conclude with a clean sweep of Padre Island’s Balli Park from 3 to 6 p.m. beginning at Bob Hall Pier.
           
The public service project marks the end of five days of festivities and friendly competitions among the University’s Greek Organizations. Events ranged from egg tosses, tug-of-wars and relay races to a talent show and a best banner contest.
Points have been awarded to the top finishers in each event and the overall Greek Week winner will be announced at the conclusion of the clean-up.

Fraternities participating in Greek Week are Alpha Phi Alpha, Beta Theta Pi, Omega Psi Phi and Sigma Phi Epsilon. Participating sororities are Alpha Gamma Delta, Delta Delta Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, Lambda Theta Alpha and Sigma Lambda Gamma.
