Michael Martin Murphey’s Cowboy Christmas at Performing Arts Center Dec. 1 |
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Cowboy singer-poet Michael Martin Murphey presents his Cowboy Christmas Concert on Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
The Cowboy Christmas Concert part of this season’s Furgason Bravo! Series for the Performing Arts.
Award-winning Murphey is considered among the best-selling singer-songwriters of American Cowboy Music and has earned the honor of being the most respected performer in the pop and country-western music fields. His song, “Wildfire,” reached No. 1 on the Radio and Records chart and No. 3 on Billboard’s pop chart.
Corpus Christi is the first stop of Murphey’s 40-city national tour this holiday season. His performance follows A&M-Corpus Christi’s inaugural Islander Lights holiday lighting ceremony being held near the Performing Arts Center.
The Corpus Christi performance of the Cowboy Christmas Concert is being supported by by Whataburger Inc. and KFTX 97.5 Real Country Radio.
