The Clearing House for Mexican-American Research in partnership with the College of Arts and Humanities will present a reading by Dr. Norma Elia Cantu, author of “Canicula: Snapshots of a Girlhood en la frontera” on Monday, June 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Bay Hall building, Room 206.
Cantu, a professor at the University of Texas-San Antonio, has published novels, essays, short fiction, and poetry and is a recognized expert in the fields of Chicana/o and Latina/o literature and borderland studies. She also teaches creative writing and women's studies.
