The 4th annual Band Camp at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is currently rehearsing for a free concert that will take place on Friday, July 14 at 5 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m. will be the best time to catch the students rehearsing.

The camp is open to all middle and high school musicians with at least one year of musical experience. Classes consist of group lessons sectionals, full ensemble rehearsals and rudimental music theory. Campers have been divided into woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists. Within these sectional rehearsals, the young musicians have the opportunity to work on instrumental techniques.
