University President Flavius Killebrew to Announce New Athletics Director for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi President Flavius Killebrew will announce the new Athletics Director on Monday, July 3 at 10 a.m. in the University Center, Legacy Hall. The University engaged in a comprehensive search to fill this important position, which has been vacant since February 2006. A search committee composed of individuals from the campus and community screened 56 applicants.
  
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi officially joined the Southland Conference on Saturday, July 1, 2006. With this announcement, the school will be well-poised to capitalize on its new designation.
