Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi President/CEO Flavius Killebrew to Meet with Faculty at Performing Arts Center Topics to include appointment of Interim Provost to replace Dr. Sandra Harper |

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi President/CEO Flavius Killebrew will hold a meeting with the University’s faculty on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 9 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Topics to be covered include the departure of Provost Dr. Sandra Harper and the selection of Dr. Robert O. Kirby as interim provost.
Dr. Harper has accepted the position of president of Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, La. effective Monday, Feb. 27. She has served as the provost and vice president for academic affairs and professor of communication at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi since 1998.
Dr. Kirby served as provost at Texas A&M University-Kingsville for eight years and, prior to retiring last year, served as interim provost at West Texas A&M University after Dr. Killebrew left that post to become president of A&M-Corpus Christi. He is expected to be on campus by Tuesday, Jan 17.
