High School Students and Recent Grads to Walk the Stage during Upward Bound’s A&M-Corpus Christi Graduation to be Broadcast Live
Simulcast broadcast to air on local cable channels
 
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi graduates can set their TiVos to watch themselves walk the stage when the graduation ceremony is broadcast live on local cable channels.

2006 Summer Commencement will be broadcast live by KXPX Channel 14 from the American Bank Center Arena on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 1:30 p.m. The graduation ceremony will also air simultaneously on Time Warner Cable, Channel 19; Grande Communications, Channel 14; Charter Cable, Channel 14; Cable One, Channel 10; and CMA Kingsville, Channel 51.  The ceremony will be rebroadcast on Aug. 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 8 p.m. on Time Warner Cable, Channel 19.

The speaker for this summer’s ceremony is Dr. Robert Wooster, history professor and award-winning teacher and author. The ceremony will include approximately 379 graduates from throughout the University’s five colleges.
