U.S. Economic Panel Forum to Discuss Impact of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita on the Local and National Economy

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s Student Economics Association will host the 2005 U.S. Economic Discussion Panel Forum on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 3 to 5 p.m. This year's forum will explore the impact hurricane Katrina and Rita had on the local and national economy, and discuss the political nature of the disasters.

Dr. Patrick Crowley, associate professor of economics, will moderate the panel discussion beginning with questions submitted by A&M-Corpus Christi students, and followed by a question- and- answer session for the public. The panel will consist of Corpus Christi Mayor Henry Garret, Dr. David Yoskowitz, associate professor of economics, Dr. Jim Lee, professor of economics, and Dr. Joe Jozwiak, associate professor of political science.
