University Building to be Renamed to Honor Philanthropist Blanche Davis Moore
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi President Flavius Killebrew will host an unveiling ceremony for the renaming of the Early Childhood Development Center building on Friday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at the building site. The building will now be named the Blanche Davis Moore Early Childhood Development Center.
Dr. Killebrew will be joined by Gary Leach, president of the Blanche Davis Moore Foundation, and Dr. Dee Hopkins, dean of the College of Education, in unveiling the new lettering identifying the building. The building renaming honors Blanche Davis Moore for her commitment to education.
The ceremony is be open to the public.
