Harte Research Institute Building Dedication to Take Place Today, Monday, Nov. 7
Ceremony and tours open to the public

The Harte Research Institute (HRI) for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will officially open its doors during a dedication ceremony on Monday, Nov. 7 at 4:30 p.m. 

The dedication will be followed by an open house for the public which will include tours of the $18 million, 55,000-square foot research center located at the University’s northwest entrance. Then, at 7:30 p.m. Harte Distinguished Lecturer Paul Kelly will speak on “The Aftermath of Hurricane Katrina” in the University Center, Lone Star Ballroom. Kelly is Senior Vice President of the Rowan Companies and a Member of the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy.
