‘Wild and Wacky Wednesday’ Activities to Encourage A&M-Corpus Christi Students to have a Safe Spring Break The Nueces County Safe Communities Coalition will provide Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi students with information on how to have a safe spring break during “Wild and Wacky Wednesday” on Wednesday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the east lawn of the University Center. The event, which is sponsored by the Recreational Sports Natural High Program, will serve as a reminder to students to use good judgment during spring break, March 14-18. Information on drinking and driving, aggressive driving, seatbelt safety, and other vehicle related safety matters will be available. In addition, the Texas Department of Transportation and the Texas Department of Public Safety will be on hand with “Fatal Vision Goggles,” a “Rollover Convincer,” and computerized BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) demonstrations. The Nueces County Safe Communities Coalition is a tri-funded grant coalition of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Safe Communities, and the Texas Department of Transportation. |
