Award-Winning Writer Pat Mora to Hold Workshop and Read from Works at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

Pat Mora, an award-winning poet, essayist and author of children’s books, will share her work and expertise with aspiring writers at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi on Wednesday, March 30.

Mora, will conduct a seminar titled a “Conversation on Creative Writing” on Wednesday, March 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the University Center, Bayview Room. Then at 7 p.m., she will give a reading from her works in the University Center, Lone Star Ballroom. Both events are free and open to the public.

Copies of Mora’s work will be available for purchase at both of Wednesday’s events and she will be available for book signings. The event is sponsored by the University’s English department, the Title V Office, the University Women’s Center and the Corpus Christi YWCA.
