Annual Author’s Day at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
The English Department at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will host the 8th Annual Author’s Day on Friday, March 4. English students from Miller and Moody High School will take part in the writing workshop that will focus on technical and creative writing and a literature discussion.
A&M-Corpus Christi Alum Bret Anthony Johnston, author of Corpus Christi: Stories, will conduct a writing workshop with the students from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in Corpus Christi Hall, Room 113. The students will have an opportunity to read their poetry and stories during the Open Mic segment from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Faculty Center, Atrium.
