Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi College Republicans Celebrating Conservative Principles and Values

The College Republicans, a recognized student organization at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, will host a reception to celebrate life, morality and traditional family values on Wednesday, April 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the University Center, Ballroom C.

The reception will include speakers Cliff Zarsky, president of Corpus Christi Right to Life, Father Paul Hesse, chaplain of the Newman Center at the University and John Smith, vice president of Recruitment of College Republicans. They will address issues faced by young republicans.

The College Republicans student organization strives to develop leadership and political skills as preparation for future service to the community and encourage political discussion among students.

Recognized student organizations are separate entities of the university whose membership includes university students, faculty and staff. Their mission is not necessarily tied to the university’s, but it should not conflict with it. Recognition status must be renewed annually with Student Activities.
