More Than 130 School Districts to Recruit Prospective Teachers at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Job Fair More than 130 Independent School Districts from over the state of Texas will be on campus to recruit future teachers during the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Education Job Fair on Wednesday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the University Center Lone Star Ballroom. The annual job fair, which is sponsored by Career Services to inform future teachers about their career options, is expected to draw an estimated 300 students interested in the teaching profession. Graduates from the University’s College of Education serve as a pool of potential employees for the Corpus Christi Independent School District and the surrounding areas. Since 1996, more than 3,000 students have graduated from the University’s College of Education with either a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree. |
