400 students from throughout the Texas A&M University System Compete at Annual Pathways Research Symposium

WHAT:           Second Annual Pathways Research Symposium Awards Presentation     

WHEN:           Saturday, Oct. 16 at 12 p.m. 

WHERE:        University Center, Lone Star Ballroom located on the A&M-Corpus Christi campus

VISUAL:        400 graduate and undergraduate students display poster presentations and compete for cash prizes.

 Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will host the second annual Pathways Research Symposium Competition and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 12 p.m. in the University Center, Lone Star Ballroom.

400 students from throughout the nine Texas A&M University Systems Universities will compete for cash prizes through poster presentations on categories such as agriculture, business, chemistry and computer science. The poster presentations are designed to enhance the students’ research abilities on technical content based on discussions and interpretations of results and the importance of good visual impact.

Judges representing the universities from the System will pick the top three posters from the graduate and undergraduate categories. The prizes are from $200 for first place, $150 for second place and $100 for third place.
