Veteran of War in Afghanistan to be keynote speaker at Texas A&M University -Corpus Christi’s Veterans Day Observance

Army Captain Mike Brault will be the keynote speaker at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s 2004 Veterans Day ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. in the University’s Warren Theater located in the Center for the Arts. Brault, an assistant professor of military Science at A&M-Corpus Christi, recently returned from a six-month deployment to Afghanistan.

Scheduled performers include the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi ROTC, University Singers, and flute and low brass ensembles. The Early Childhood Development Center kindergarten class will lead the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance and Flicka Rahn, assistant professor of music and voice, will sing the national anthem. Taps will be played by Eddie Olivares, director of jazz ensemble, and Dr. John Wojcik, associate professor of music and director of bands.
