Brains Rule! Neuroscience Exposition to Stress Importance of a Healthy Mind to West Oso Elementary Fifth-Grade Students |

Local doctors, pre-professionals and professors and students from A&M-Corpus Christi’s Colleges of Science and Technology and Nursing and Health Sciences will present hands-on exhibits and demonstrations in basic and applied neuroscience during the second Brains Rule! Exposition on Thursday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.
Approximately 165 West Oso fifth-graders are expected for the event which begins at 10 a.m. with a tour of booths featuring hands-on activities designed to teach children about the nervous system. At noon, the students will enjoy a pizza lunch before returning to the Ballroom to take a test and vote on their favorite booth.
