Harte Research Institute, Mexican Natural Conservation Fund to Sign Institute’s First International Agreement
 
The Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies (HRI) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will sign its first international agreement on Wednesday, May 5 at 10 a.m. at the construction site of its future location on campus, immediately adjacent to the campus entryway sculpture on Ocean Drive. Following the press conference the media will have an opportunity to tour the ongoing construction of the $18 million HRI building.
 
A&M-Corpus Christi President Dr. Robert R. Furgason will join Eugenio Clariond Reyes, chairman of the Mexican Nature Conservation Fund (MNCF), in signing a cooperation letter of agreement to help the organizations advance their respective conservation and capacity building missions.
