United States Air Force Dimensions in Blue Jazz Ensemble to Perform at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
 
               
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Department of Music will host a concert by Dimensions in Blue, the jazz ensemble from the United States Air Force Band of the West, on Wednesday, March 11 at7:30 p.m. in the University Center Lone Star Ballroom.The performance is free of charge and open to the public.

This group performs a wide variety of music, ranging from the classics of Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Woody Herman, to the more contemporary sounds of Rob McConnell, Bob Mintzer and Frank Mantooth. The band can also recreate the look and sound of the 1940s Glenn Miller Army Air Corps Jazz Band.
