Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to Hold
Orientation for First-Year Students and Parents
First-year students and their parents will have an opportunity to get
acquainted with Islander life and learning on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the
Spring 2004 Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi student orientation.
Students will sign in at8 a.m. in the University Center Legacy Hall,
and the orientation will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Orientation is designed to help first-year students make a successful
transition to college life. During their campus visit and tour, students
will be introduced to the academic programs and special services available
at the University. Parents and students will also have the opportunity
to talk with University administrators, faculty members, and orientation
leaders throughout the day to gain insight into the adjustments ahead
for them as they settle into campus life.
