West Oso Fifth Graders to Judge Neuroscience Exhibits
Local experts to participate in interactive science fair for neuroscience
education
Brains Rule! will hold a neuroscience exposition on Thursday, Feb. 19
from9:30 a.m.to1:30 p.m.in the University Center Lone Star Ballroom.
Local doctors, pre-professionals, and professors and students from A&M-Corpus
Christi’s Office of Pre-Professional Education & Special Programs
will present hands-on exhibits and demonstrations in basic or applied
neuroscience
to be judged
by fifth graders fromWestOsoElementary School.
Brains Rule! strives to promote learning about the brain and nervous
system among children and adults using exciting new teaching methods.
The project is funded by a Science Education Drug Abuse Partnership Award
from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
