Christi to Hold Fall 2003 Commencement Saturday
NEA Deputy Chairman to speak at televised
ceremonies
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s Fall 2003 Commencement
will take place in two ceremonies Saturday at Memorial Coliseum. Commencement
for the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business will be
held at 1:30 p.m. followed by the commencement for the College of Education
and
College
of Science and Technology at 4:30 p.m. More than 500 students will be receiving
their diplomas, the largest group yet for a Fall Commencement.
Keynote speaker for the televised events will be National Endowment for
the Arts Deputy Chairman Tony Chauveaux. A live commencement show will
be broadcast on KXPX Channel 14 beginning 30 minutes prior to each graduation
ceremony. The pre-commencement shows and graduation ceremonies will also
be transmitted simultaneously on Time Warner Channel 95, Grande Channel
14, Charter Channel 14, CMA Channel 51 and Cable One Channel 10. |
