Students in Robstown
and Tuloso-Midway
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi professors Dr. Phil Rhoades and
Dr. Liz Sefcik of the Safe Communities Coalition along with Texas Department
of Transportation (TxDOT) specialist Cliff Voss will deliver coloring
books to 400 students at Robstown Elementary School and 1,000 students
at Tuloso-Midway Primary School on Monday, April 19 as part of a campaign
to promote bike, traffic and personal safety.
The coloring books are designed to teach valuable traffic safety practices
as well as to provide students with information on what to do when approached
by a stranger or offered drugs and alcohol. The distribution of the coloring
books is being made possible by the Safe Communities Coalition and TxDOT. |
