College of Education to Host Informational Reception
Reception will explain the different masters programs in education
The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi College of Education will
host a reception to explain its 10 master’s level programs on Wednesday,
April 14 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the University Center, Bayview Room
320. The reception is for anyone interested in pursuing a master’s
in education. There will be discussions covering the different
programs offered as well as scholarship opportunities and qualifications.
“The reception is for anyone who has ever thought of pursuing a
master’s program in education. This is a good opportunity to find
out more about the programs, the requirements and scholarship information,” said
Dr. Jack Cassidy, professor of education.
Representatives from all 10 programs will be available to answer questions
and talk more about the programs. The graduate programs within the College
of Education are: MS - Counseling; MS - Curriculum & Instruction;
MS - Early Childhood Education; MS - Educational Administration; MS -
Educational Technology; MS - Elementary Education; MS - Occupational
Training & Development; MS - Reading; MS - Secondary Education; and
MS - Special Education.
