Islander Student E-mail  

To:  All Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi students

You now have a new Islander e-mail address.  This new e-mail address will be the University’s means of communicating with you.  Via this email address, you will receive billing notifications and other official University announcements.

This e-mail address also will be a critical component of our ability to communicate with students, especially in emergency situations.

To set-up or find your new Islander e-mail account:

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR NEW STUDENT ID NUMBER:
1.  Your new student ID number will begin with an “A” followed by numbers. Go to the University homepage and click on the S.A.I.L. link.  Go to “My Student ID” in the left-hand column.

2.  Enter your social security number.  Your pin will be the same number you use when you register for classes online. Follow instructions and go to “Computer Services Account.”

3.  Select the button titled “Islander Student E-mail.” Enter your new Student ID number and date of birth.  Your new e-mail account and password will be provided to you.   

4.  Once the information has been retrieved, go to: http://islander.tamucc.edu/mail to access your web-based email system.  Please remember user ID’s and passwords are case sensitive. 

 

IF YOU HAVE YOUR NEW STUDENT ID NUMBER:
1.  If you know your new Student ID number (which begins with an “A”) go to http://newuser.tamucc.edu and then follow steps three and four above.

Set up your e-mail account as soon as possible.  For more assistance, you can contact our student computer helpdesk at 361-825-5618.  

New e-mail accounts are created daily.  If you’ve recently been accepted, please give the University one business day to process your new account.
