Blood Pressure Study: Dr. Mary Kay Mortimer, professor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, is seeking Hispanic and African-American women age 50 and older for a research study geared to assisting women in managing their blood pressure. All interaction in the study is on an individual basis at the University or at the subject’s home, if preferred. The program works with your physician's prescribed treatments to support blood pressure control through better self-management practices. Employee Development Day: Registration is underway for Employee Development Day, “Lean Green and Keen: Believing It and Achieving It,” which will be held Wednesday, May 21. Massage Therapist: The Glasscock Fitness and Wellness Center has a massage therapist on duty Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A 10-minute pick up session is $10 and a 50-minute session is $35. For more information or to schedule a session, call 361.813.3373.
