Veterans Assistance is associated with the Registrar's Office. Educational veterans benefits are available to qualified veterans and some family members. Information concerning veterans school benefits as well as application forms can be obtained from the Veterans Counselor/Registrar's Office. The principal function of the A&M-Corpus Christi Veterans office is course certification and liaison to the U.S. Veterans Office in Houston, Texas, in cases of extreme difficulty.

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi does not participate in the VA advance payment program.

For the purposes of veterans assistance, full-time enrollment status is defined as follows:

Fall and Spring Semesters

Undergraduates:

12 semester hours per semester

Graduates:

9 semester hours per semester


Six Week Summer Term

Undergraduates:

6 semester hours per semester

Graduates:

3 semester hours per semester


Nine-Week Summer Terms

Undergraduates:

6 semester hours per semester

Graduates:

5 semester hours per semester
