TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI FOUNDATION
ANNUAL REPORT 2004
A Message from the
Anticipation of this summer’s inauguration of Dr. Flavius Killebrew as successor to President Robert Furgason is giving the campus, community and our Texas A&M Corpus Christi Foundation a rare and exciting opportunity. Together, we are looking back with intense satisfaction at the powerful momentum that is steadily building a world-class university. It is as much a thrill to celebrate our rapid growth as it is to accept responsibility for developing our future.
The growth, quality and effectiveness of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi – both past and still to come – continues to depend on the growth of the Foundation.
With the University clearly poised to become the economic engine of Corpus Christi and the entire Texas Coastal Bend, the role of the Foundation is critical if we are to realize this ambitious vision. It is the generosity of committed donors such as yourself that has allowed us to award millions of dollars for endowed scholarships, professorships, scientific research, construction projects and improvements in classroom technology. Your support for the growth, quality and effectiveness of the Foundation significantly promotes the same for A&M-Corpus Christi.
Whether by speaking to professional or community groups, or sitting down in private to discuss the many giving opportunities that are available, I would be proud to invite you to participate in the Foundation’s important work. We can assist you in crafting an endowment or other gift that complements your resources and supports your own vision for the future. I look forward to meeting with you to explore how you might contribute to the momentum of this rewarding journey.
