My name is Dr. Trent Hill and I am the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. In that capacity, I serve the President by initiating and collaborating on projects designed to advance the imperatives of Excellence, Engagement, and Expansion delineated in Momentum 2015, the president's blueprint for the University's growth over the next decade. Primary among my goals is to advance the University's mission to be South Texas's premier four-year institution. In my capacity as head of Institutional Advancement, I oversee the activities of the Marketing Department, the Communications and Public Affairs Department, the Development Office, Alumni Relations, Foundations and Scholarships, Advancement Services and Athletics. I am also an adjunct professor in the College of Business.

I received my BBA in Marketing in 1982 and my Master's of Science in Finance in 1986, both from West Texas State University. My Ph.D. in Higher Education Marketing was conferred by the University of North Texas in 1992.

In my spare time, I enjoy team roping, church, and running/exercise.
