I work closely with individual and business prospects and donors to secure annual restricted and unrestricted gifts, endowments, and major and planned gifts to the University. Through face-to-face visits, phone calls, written proposals and other direct contact, I identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts from University alumni, friends, business and professionals. Kimberly also provides stewardship and recognition efforts and activities to ensure the continued support and relationship of our donors. I work with and report to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement to coordinate appeals, events and activities that insure the annual and long term goals of the University.
I earned my Bachelor's in Marketing from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi using my GI Bill benefits from the U.S. Navy. I proudly served both active duty and reserved in the Navy and was very fortunate to be stationed in Rota, Spain for most of my naval career. Upon arriving to Corpus Christi, I was accepted to Leadership Corpus Christi through the chamber and completed class 33 - the best class ever!
I am married to James DeVisser, a CCFD Chief, and am a non-evil stepmother to Nathan and Sophia and "dog mom" to Stanley, our blue Great Dane. Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, I make a biennial pilgrimage every odd year to the islands. We're blessed to have good friends from church and work along with a wonderful network of characters that I call family.
