I currently assist in managing scholarship applications, providing students with information on upcoming scholarships, planning events for donors and students, and daily office duties.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Public Relations from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2005. After graduation, I lived in Latin America for three years working on humanitarian projects, such as clean water in underdeveloped areas, and facilitating medical teams to provide service in these areas. My last year and a half in Latin America, my husband and I lived in Cusco, Peru, where we opened a non-profit cafe that raised money for projects within the Cusco area. I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, cuisine, and learning languages. In the last five years I have had the privilege of visiting nearly 30 countries. There is always more to learn!
