I'm responsible for creating, deploying and maintaining Web content for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I oversee the University's social media channels and act as a social media consultant for other departments on campus. I see to it that all press releases and news articles are published to the University Web site. I am also continually researching and advising on the best practices for Web site and social media development.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Collectively, I have over 10 years of experience in the areas of web/graphic design, having began my career as a promotional assistant for the LaSalle County Fair Association in 2000. Since then, I've honed my craft while serving my alma mater, performing in the positions of Page Editor and Technology Coordinator for the Island Waves Student Newspaper, an assistant in the Office of New Student Programs, and, most recently, as a Systems Support Specialist for the Department of Enrollment Management at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. I assumed my current position as Web Designer for Marketing and Communications in May 2010.

In my spare time, I am actively involved in community theatre, and enjoy cake decorating and spending time with my husband, Bryan, and our son, Brayden.
